Cheese

Oil on canvas, 14" x 11"
I wanted to paint something really "Philadelphia" for my show at the F.A.N. Gallery. This is from the Reading Terminal Market, the best place in town to grab a bite to eat. The show is up until the end of June.

Portrait

Oil on canvas panel, 12"  x 9"
Our model for this portrait had very fair skin. Her white tank top and the dark hair provided values at either end of the scale, helping me judge the skin tones in both the light and the shadow more accurately.
