Gondolas in Providence

Some years ago, the mayor of Providence (I think after a trip to Italy) decided that it would be nice to have gondolas plying the river downtown. I caught this couple on a late afternoon ride.

    Beautiful painting!!

    I remember when they re-routed the river to completely overhaul the area. I was really impressed and so wanted to live in Providence!

    Thanks, Catherine, Terry, and Edward. Yes, they re-routed the rivers; now they're re-routing I-195. It's all just a work in progress.
