Snow

Oil on panel, 6" x 6"
I don't like winter, but I do absolutely love the blue of shadows on snow on a sunny day. I was determined to go out and paint some before it melted. I sat in my car on the side of the road for this one.

    I feel the cold of winter here...I live in sunny CA. I find this piece charming.

    I find this piece charming. Even tho' I come from warm sunny CA, to my mind it captures the cold sunny winter day perfectly.
