Portrait

Oil on canvas panel, 12"  x 9"
Our model for this portrait had very fair skin. Her white tank top and the dark hair provided values at either end of the scale, helping me judge the skin tones in both the light and the shadow more accurately.

    I like this one. Simple direct strokes, great drawing, good expression. What's not to like?
