Oil, 6" x 6"
I met this little guy when I was out painting one day last week. Who could resist such a cute face? He's much more interesting than the landscape I painted...

Watercolor, pencil, ink, approx. 8" x 10"
Ed and I met on historic Benefit St. in Providence one day last week and realized we could spend a lot of time there this summer. Great architecture and quiet shady street. Email me for price.

White buildings in the sun- sold
Oil, 6" x 6"
I've had my eye on this building at the Providence Country Day School in East Providence for a while and finally got to paint it yesterday morning. I'm always seeing things when I'm driving that I think, I'd like to paint that, but I can't right then. I've started keeping a notebook in my car and writing them down so that when I have time to go out and paint I have a list of possibilities.

Geranium- sold
Searching for something to paint in the backyard on a sunny day. This is a higher key painting than I usually do and it was fun.

Beach roses- sold
Painting at Round Hill Beach in Dartmouth MA late yesterday. Lots of beach roses, pink and white, scenting the air. Fog rolled in toward the end, obliterating the distant shore.
I painted the roses first because I wanted that bright clean pink/magenta, then I painted the greens around it.
