We got a dusting of snow the other night, and I was really intrigued with the greenish yellow house, the red foundation, and the various grays of the ground, trees and sky. I really wanted to paint at least one snow scene this winter; this might be it.

I really like this one - the light is quite real.
Super abstract like painting. Sometimes I see a scene like this, with unique colors and I just have to paint it. Sometimes reality does all the work for us! I also love these neighborhood vignettes.
