The bug box

Oil on panel, 8" x 10"
I went to Cape Cod on Wednesday and went painting with two very good friends. We've been trying get together to do this for a long time, and finally got a day when it all worked out.
Later in the day we went to Tree's Place Gallery to see the show of paintings by Kim English. Wonderful paintings! I want one!

I love your work. I have seen it both at JRS Fine Art and at the Donovan Gallery. It's wonderful on the blog, but even better in person.
I also went to the Cape yesterday with an artist friend and thoroughly enjoyed Kim English's work....fabulous! I would also highly recommend the photography exhibit at the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis...very impressive also.

Love the way you handled the clouds in this. This reminds me so much of the gorgeous, expansive pastures here in Texas. Love that little blue box that draws the eye into the scene so naturally.

This is such a wonderful landscape! The greens are very lush set against the beautiful sky. I saw paintings of Kim English in Charleston a few years ago...oh yes...just beautiful!
