Tide pool shadows

Oil on canvas panel, 8" x 10"
Yesterday afternoon we went painting at a place called Bristol Narrows. This was the second painting I did, painting as fast as I could to catch the light before it was gone. At first I thought it might be a lost cause, but I ended up fairly happy with the result.

This is beautifully done. Such a variety of greens and the light is luminous!

Hi Kathy.
This is a wonderful painting. It`s the lights and darks and your skilful draughtsmanship that makes it, wonderful. All the best.
