Waterfire-sold

Oil on panel, 6" x 8"
Waterfire is Providence's signature event. Braziers of wood in the middle of the river are lit on fire while music plays and gondolas cruise. It's fun, and it's fun to paint.

Kathy,
This is well conceived and the affects are very convincingly painted. GOOD JOB!

I just watched "Half Blood Prince." This reminds me of one of the scenes - mystical, fantastical.

Beautifully captured, Kathy. The fire and the reflections are wonderful.

Great painting! Wish I could be there to actually see the fire on the water.

I've always wanted to paint WaterFire, but didn't think I could do it justice. You did. Beautiful!

Kathy, well done! This is definitely one of the better Waterfire paintings I've seen.
