Art appreciation-sold

Oil on canvas panel, 6" x 8"
I hate when museums put ropes in front of paintings, because when I'm at a museum I've got my nose right up to the surface, just like these folks. It's the only way to see how it's done.

Love this! Yes, that is how to look at art. Love the wife leaning in! Really nice.

Such a wonderful piece, Kathy. Don't all artists look at art this way?

You're right about that. It seems the older I get, the closer I get too! I really like this painting!

Hi Kathy.
I agree with you, it is the only way to study a painting. I got told off once for doing just that, but I managed to sneak a photo of a Van Gogh. So I got my own back. By the way, This is a lovely painting. The two people are really studying this one. All the best Kathy.

A very charming painting! I chose it as my favorite daily painting on my blog, rosaspicks.wordpress.com. I hope you'll come by and check it out. Thanks! Rosa
