Work in progress

Oil on canvas, 20"x20"
I was out painting last week when a photographer from the Providence Journal happened to spot me.
Photo, courtesy The Providence Journal

I ended up having my picture in the paper, working on the above (as yet unfinished) painting of the Washington Bridge, which spans the river between East Providence, where I live, and Providence . One of my students told me yesterday that she saw the photo and thought it made me look like I gained 50 lbs. So, for the record, it's a VERY bulky down jacket.

Congrats on the publicity - every bit helps with marketing. But you really deserve it Kathy and a wonderful piece.

ps that's a smart jacket too!

I love this cityscape, with boats! The kind of thing I love to paint too. Your recent work is super, beautiful portraits.
