Yesterday afternoon was so nice- finally!- I got into my car with my pochade box and drove around for a little while, saw the sun on this house, pulled over, put the windows down and painted. Not the greatest painting, but it sure felt good to be out on a spring afternoon.

That's a really good technique, painting in the car. (I always felt embarrassed painting alone on the sidewalk.) May I ask how long did the painting take?
It probably took about an hour. I try to park in places where there are other cars around. In this case, there was a ballfield with a game going on, and lots of cars parked on the street. Otherwise, sometimes you look suspicious and people call the police.
