Sheesh, it's been a busy week. It took me forever to finish this little painting. I painted the guy's face over and over; even now I'm not thrilled with it but it's better than it was.
I like this one very much, it's something about the big white areas. BTW, I can't tell there was special attention to either face, they both look effortless.
Well, Kathy, YOU may have a different idea of what his face should look like, but I can tell you that this face 'works'. I know how you feel, if you think of a face a certain way, then can't get it. But this is really nice.

It may have "taken forever" to get it right, but you nailed it. Love the rose painting underneath this one too.
