The rock wedge

Oil on panel, 8" x 10"
I went painting in Jamestown again- it was a beautiful day. I was debating whether to do one more painting or to pack up and go when I saw this hillside across the water, its bones still visible before summer's green covers it, and decided to stay.
I'll be heading out tomorrow for Charleston, SC for a week. Won't be posting while I'm gone-- see you later!

I think I've painted from that little area! Very nice, and I like how you did the trees w/out their leaves. Have fun in SC.

I'm loving these latest paintings. And by the way, my copy of your new book arrived, and it's amazing! The print quality is really incredible. What a great idea.

Thanks, Amy! I was really impressed with the quality of the printing too. Glad you liked it.
