Oil on canvas, 6" x 8"
This angel statue in the northwest corner of Boston Garden caught my eye this fall when I was delivering work to the Copley Society of Art. New subscribers to this blog by January 15 could win this or another 6"x6" or 6"x8" painting.
Hi Kathy - I walk by the angel at least once a week at lunch time, so I recognized it right away. I like it, especially in sunshine! I am curious, do you set up and paint on location, snap a picture and paint later or paint from memory?

Thanks, Linda and Mary! And Tom, hi! I've heard a lot about you over the years. This piece is done from a photo, although I do paint outside sometimes in good weather.
Excuse my english. Going from blog to blog today I went by chance through your paintings and stopped for a while. That's just another congratulation about your lights and shapes and colors....but I really love it

Beautiful light shadow and color. I want to step into the sunshine, away from our gray dismal January.
