Oil on panel, 8" x 10"
It was really lovely out last week, spring fever busted loose. I went out painting for the first time this season, not a great painting, but it was really nice to be outside for a change.
I think this painting is quite lovely. It stood out on my blog list, so I had to check it out. You have certainly captured the essence of spring and the brighter light we are experiencing now. Also enjoyed looking through the previous posts. Love the background of the Daffodils. Gorgeous green. Your work is always a treat to look at and consistently first class.
I like your paintings, and especially like this one. It really has a 'spring' feel to it- it makes me feel relaxed! I like the solid and ordered composition and distibution of colours too. Nice work!

I like this painting! The reflections in the water are nice and it just feels like spring. Beautiful spot to paint!
I think it looks wonderful and it does take a bit to get back in the swing of the uncontrolled enviornment again, doesn't it?
I love your work! Just discovered it...Your brushstrokes are so loose. I especially like the Skipping Stones painting!
Such nice comments. I really appreciate them all.
