Peonies, peaches and plums

Oil on linen, 18" x 24"
I planted these pink peonies last year and was thrilled to see them not only come up this spring but with four big buds. I haven't been painting many florals lately, but if I didn't paint these I wouldn't have forgiven myself.

Lovely painting! I, too, have peonies blooming all over my garden. Haven't gotten around to painting them yet, but time is running out! So better get to work!!

You know, I never really liked floral paintings till I saw yours - no kidding! This one is one of your most appealing - I'm glad you planted them, and doubly glad you painted them!

This is beautiful! I love peonies! I don't have any in my yard, but I am so fortunate to be able to look at gorgeous floral paintings! I like the cloth. And, of course, all the light. :-)
