Great infusion of light, and movement with the brushwork.

You do such great things with what I call "the dessert"...those light littel touches of value in the right places. You say so much with so little! Love it.

Kathy,
I am very impressed with your people in your paintings and even more amazed with how fast you turn these paintings out! Keep it up! They are wonderful! Dean

Wonderful backlighting in this! Can't help but wonder about their conversation. Love your treatment of the water with the strong horizontal brush strokes. Very effective!

Kathy, Just wonderful, you captured the water color perfectly and the feel of the heat at the beach.

Shallow water over sand is maybe the hardest thing to paint - you nailed it! I love the connection between the 2 figures, too.

The thumbnail on DPO really caught my eye; you really brought the water to life! And what a great sense of light.

The weight of that flat wet sand really comes through, and the women are sitting so solidly on it. Not easy, but you pulled it off!
