Portrait

Oil on panel, 9" x 12"
I've been sticking with a limited palette when I go to my portrait group. Black, white, yellow ocher and cad red light, aka the Zorn palette. I'm teaching some workshops on using it, one in March at the
Portsmouth Arts Guild, and one in July.

Very nice! It's amazing what beautiful skin tones and colors you can get with a limited palette.

Great skin tones! I like the subdued colors of this palette.

I've always wanted to try that palette... but I end up reaching for more colours! You did an awesome job with it! Looks great.
