Oil on panel, 6" x 8"
We went to the Gaspee Days parade this past weekend, for the first time ever. The Gaspee was a British ship burned to the waterline by early American colonists. Rhode Islanders claim that this is where the American Revolution really started, not at that little dustup in Lexington shortly after.

Great painting and the parade looks like fun!
It was!
A lot of movement and life. Attitudes are accurate-excellent!
And I like the simplicity of the three primary colours which make a beautiful pattern by themselves
Very good you appear, live and in movement
