Kathy, I really like the atmospheric effect. Can really feel the salt air breeze, light and sand of the beach. Good composition. I am land locked and don't paint the ocean, so don't know if my little nitpick would add anything.
The light seems to be backlight,so would the wave have a little more luminosity,lightness and richness of color? Please excuse my little nitpick and like I said it may not help your paintinting. Anyway, I think it is still a very good painting.
I know I love the work when I feel jealous! no doubt about it I am jealous! sadly that is my highest of compliments :) well, also, happily, inspired. Thanks for sharing the great work.
