This is great. It looks like an Edward Hopper interior. Was the man just talking with his hands, or was he about hit her?
Beautiful painting, Kathy! Love how you captured the back light!
Marianne- funny! I tried a number of times to get the right expression on his ( and her) face-- with the small canvas size, I ended up deciding to just simplify them. Also, I ended up changing his hand- it looked at first like he was trying to hypnotize her. They actually seemed to be enjoying the conversation.
