Storm clouds, Bristol Harbor

Oil on panel, 8" x 10"
I delivered a few paintings to Gallery 297 in Bristol the other day and stopped to do this painting on my way home. By the time I finished the sky was completely gray and it started to rain on the drive home.

i'd love to see a few of your bigger pieces if you ever post any of them here on this blog.
p.s. love the impending rain feel to this one! the temperature of the paint on the trees in the back tell you everything. they get that cool light shimmer to them.
great!
arent 8x10's just the perfect size?i love that size the most!

Hi Mike, I'll post a few larger pieces soon but I haven't really been doing many large landscapes. I do love the 8x10's- they are the perfect size- portable if you want to carry somewhere, or small enough that you can paint sitting in the car.
