The Narragansett Inn

Oil on panel, 8" x 10"
The wonderful thing about Block Island is the Victorian-era architecture. There are a number of hotels built during this time that are still standing. This is the Narragansett Inn, at New Harbor.

Hopperesque - light and all. There's something about the reflective light this close to ocean and you tell it well.

These four paintings from Block Island are all BEAUTIFUL. I would love to hear more about your painting experience on Block Island. I've never been there, only seen it from Weekapaug, R.I.. Next time we go to R.I. I'm going to Block Island! I want to see these lovely places that you've captured.
