The wonderful thing about Block Island is the Victorian-era architecture. There are a number of hotels built during this time that are still standing. This is the Narragansett Inn, at New Harbor.
These four paintings from Block Island are all BEAUTIFUL. I would love to hear more about your painting experience on Block Island. I've never been there, only seen it from Weekapaug, R.I.. Hopperesque - light and all. There's something about the reflective light this close to ocean and you tell it well.
