Bloom-sold

Oil on canvasboard, 6" x 8"
We took a spur of the moment trip to Brooklyn this weekend to see the Gustave Caillebotte show at the Brooklyn Art Museum. A good show, although I wish there had been more work. We also went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens right next door, which was absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest botanic gardens I've ever been to. The rose garden was huge and in full bloom, well worth the trip.

Great painting - love the colors and the sense of warm sunlight.
