Two martinis-sold

Oil on panel, 6" x 8"
When we were out to dinner the other night I was struck by the late day light coming in and illuminating these two women at the end of the bar. The martinins and the red dress were an added bonus.

Hi Kathy:
The play of light in this painting is gorgeous! Nice technique... just a few strokes and you have created a lovely painting.

You captured the light so well in this painting. I was wondering how you photograph your subjects (if you do) without them knowing.

Wonderfully executed - like the sunlit outline!

I love the warm color combinations and the psychology element of the two women holding the conversation.
