Title needed-sold

Oil on linen, 8" x 10"
I've been offered a one person show at the FAN Gallery in Philadelphia in September, so for the past week I've been stretching canvases and organizing my subject matter to facilitate things. I'll need 30-40 paintings for this show- yikes!- so I'm going to be a very busy girl for months to come.
I'm not very good at coming up with titles for paintings- your suggestions for the one above are welcome!

kathy i have been following your blog from a long time now and love your work.here are my suggestions for the title..."letter for a loved one" or expressing of love a "letter" as these days people have really forgotten to write someone through pen and paper in a letter.

Yay! Great news about the FAN gallery show. I'll be looking forward to seeing your work again! As for a title idea..."Decisions, decisions..." Lovely work, as always!

Does this mean we can't have any fun until October? As they say...it's the first 30 paintings that are the hardest! What a wonderful 'problem' to have. Congratulations.

Hi Kathy, I like the light and the composition is excellent.
But for titles, I'm afraid I can barely name my own!

How about: "Final Preparations"

Congratulations on your show. Wish I lived near Philly so I could come see.
Love the subtle harmonies in your painting. You'll come up with the right title.

What about 'A stolen moment' or 'divine inspiration'...or 'a moment in time'. Absolutely gorgeous painting...have had moments like you've portrayed here - where it feels like the world has stopped for a while. Glorious!

What about ' a moment in time'...gorgeous painting...have experienced 'hiding' in a secluded space (as in your painting) to capture my thoughts like this before - and felt the world stopping for just a moment. Wonderful!

Thanks for all the great comments and titles! Not only the ones posted here, but I also got a lot of email. I haven't decided yet which one to use, but there certainly are a lot of great choices.

I think you should call it simply "Busy".
