A few sketches finished this morning in Providence. I didn't realize that the pen I was using didn't have waterproof ink- must check that in the future.
And then, of course, a stop at the Coffee Exchange, and a few quickies there...
I like to think of it as a happy accident because I really like the look of the non-waterproof ink and how it's bled slightly. It gives a liveliness and a casual, devil-may-care attitude to the work which to me is more appealing than a neater more careful style. I agree with Mary, they're inspiring!
